Following House passage of H.R. 2029, the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, Congressman Mike Bishop issued the following statement:
“Job providers across Michigan need more certainty from our tax code, and today the House took a positive step in that direction. The PATH Act creates more permanency for provisions like research, development and business expensing – so employers can adequately plan ahead, create more jobs and grow their businesses. Congress’ work to address comprehensive tax reform has only just begun, but this pro-growth tax package is a necessary part of creating the fairer, flatter tax code our families and communities deserve.”
